Toronto Gold was founded by two young entrepreneurs, with the dogged help of their family and friends, with a simple mission: to be a different and better kind of gold buyer. Through personal experience, each of us realized that the current state of the precious metals buying industry left something to be desired. So we did something about it. We hope you like our business.

our team
Ronan L. (President & Co-founder) – A lawyer by training, but an entrepreneur by heart, Toronto Gold is Ronan’s second foray into the world of entrepreneurship. Immediately prior to starting Toronto Gold, Ronan served as Vice President & General Counsel of a Toronto-based online media company. Before that, Ronan was a co-founder of ClickGreener.com, a green online mall, that was ultimately acquired by Air Miles.

Sam P. (Co-founder) – In addition to co-founding Toronto Gold, Sam serves as Vice President of Cameron-Pollock Investments, and as Manager at Kingston Gold, Toronto Gold’s sister company. When not pursuing either of these duties, Sam is also in the process of completing his degree in Philosophy at Queen’s University.

Winston the Bulldog (Greeter/Guard Dog) – Our resident pet, greeter and intimidating looking guard dog (even though he is a giant suck), this is Winston’s first foray into the work-a-day world. He would much prefer to be sprawled out on Ronan’s couch, but enjoys personal interaction that comes from working at the store.
