We are currently charging 2.8% on top of current market rate for all gold bars and 5% for Canadian Gold Maple coins. We are currently charging 13% on top of the current market rate for all Silver Maple coins, and 10% for all silver bars and rounds. Any individual item over 10 oz in weight is 5%, unless otherwise stated. Check out the website we use, Kitco, to find the current market rate. Please make sure to update the chart to Canadian dollars from the drop down menu.
e.g., if market rate for gold is CAD $1,400/oz our price would be $1,400 x 1.028 =$1,439.20/oz
e.g., if market rate for silver is CAD $22.00 our price would be $22.00 x 1.10 = $24.20/oz
We only accept Canadian cash. A Government Issued Photo ID is mandatory for all transactions at Toronto Gold. A note on bullion sales in Ontario: any gold, silver or platinum coin or bar less than 99.5% pure is subject to 13% HST.
While Toronto Gold does not maintain a large inventory, we do sell coins and bars of precious metals such as gold and silver. Please contact us to inquire about our current bullion pricing and availability. We encourage you to place your desired item on hold before making your way to our store.
Due to the high demand for our metals, we currently operate on a “first-come-first-serve” basis. If you see an item that you are interested in, please call us during our regular business hours at 416-434-4653 and leave your name, telephone number and the item you wish to place on hold with a member of our staff.
We will put your requested item on hold for a maximum of 24 hours. If for any reason you are unable to claim your item within this period, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for an extension.
